Dare2Hope is a new play dealing with the issue of Suicide prevention for Secondary School pupils, and working with the relevant agencies around Scotland. This play was launched at the National Suicide Prevention Week in September 2010 and then toured Schools with over 3000 pupils seeing the production. We are now looking to set up a further tour. PRIMARY SCHOOL WORK:Inspiring young people Working mainly with P7 pupils, we bring in a Director and Choreographer to teach a musical in 10 weeks with a School – giving children the experience of not only being onstage and giving them increased confidence but also giving them different social skills. These projects are based around the needs of the Curriculum for Excellence and meet many of the requirements of this. We have also developed this to work with children in an urban deprivation area and hope to develop more work around Scotland. We have worked on “Jungle Book Jnr”, “Honk Jnr” and “Aladdin Jnr” all with great success. If your School would like to work with us, then please contact us for more details. |
