Suzanne Lofthus, the Artistic Director is helping a US State Penitentiary in Louisiana produce an open air promenade production of “The Life of Jesus”. This will be produced in May 2011. Check out her blog on www.passion-play.co.uk

COTS [Children in Orphanages Theatre Scheme] This is a new project to bring Creativity to Children in overseas orphanages who have no access to stimulation through creativity. We have launched the first project in Malawi [more info] and have requests from Cameroon, Thailand, Brazil, Rwanda to bring the project there. Watch this space!! read more...

“Dare2Hope” We have just finished a 3 week tour of this new play dealing with suicide prevention. Around 3000 young people saw the play and great feedback.

Plans are underway for a large scale modern production of the Story of Jesus in Glasgow next September. Check out www.glasgowpassion.co.uk  for more information on that production.

Our main aim is to bring Theatre to people who may not usually have access to it or have experienced it.

Cutting Edge Theatre was shortlisted as one of the 2010 Guardian newspaper's Charity of the Year.
